Hello Family and Friends,

Welcome to my 2020 Sunrise Ascent Fundraising page in support of Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country.  The Sunrise Ascent will be virtual this year due to the pandemic of COVID-19, and with that I hope this letter finds each one of you healthy and safe. 

This year has been trying for so many, and yet a signifigant silver lining we've found is how grateful we are for our own health and wellbeing, for essentials such as food and shelter and for the immense support offered in friendship and community.  

Undoubetdly, each individual reading this has been hit in some way, likely many ways, by the impacts of COVID-19.  The financial worries from this new era we find ourselves in are not small ones, and I appreciate that it is no small ask to seek the financial support of others during this time.  But I also can't think of a better gift than to support this special non-profit organization.  For that reason I've chosen to run a fundraiser for ASPNC between my birthday on July 7th through Sasha's birthday on July 20th.

Many of you reading have followed Sasha's myriad of adventures provided by ASPNC.  Sasha's coming off of her first ever full winter season of skiing at Cannon Mountain; blustery winds, chairlift rides and all.  She went indoor rock climbing for the first time every last year, and I'll never forget watching her nearly 30 feet up in the air with a team of amazingly supportive, encouraging climbers all around her.  Sasha marveled as people floating alongside her helped place her hands on nobby holds while a crew operating pullies from the ground below hoisted her as she climbed.  

I could share so many of our experiences and the countless uplifting days Sasha's had through ASPNC.  But I need to save some material for future chapters, so I'll leave it there for now.  If you can, please consider a monitary donation to an organization that's had the same impact on hundreds of lives as its had for Sasha's.
