Why did I decide to volunteer for Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country (ASPNC). Why did I join Chester’s Team?
ASPNC is a great organization of people. The volunteers,staff and participants all go above and beyond for each other.
My friend , Nancy, has been a volunteer for many years and had wanted me to volunteer for years now but my work schedule made it difficult. Last year my schedule changed and I was able to accompany her to the last two weeks of 2017 Summer Biking. She was right. I loved it and signed up to be a volunteer right away. It has changed my life.
Chester was one of the first participants that I met. His smile and laugh are infectious. He asked me if I was going to hike up Mt. Washington with him and his team but the Sunrise Ascent was only days away. I had to work that day. I told Chester that next year (2018) I would join his team. Not only am I keeping my promise but I feel privileged to be part of his team and part of ASPNC . Please help us to met our goal. Thank you. Gail
