Hi there, Thank you for looking at my page. I have been friends with Charlie's grandmother since we were five. (46 years in case you're wondering) I have been inspired to be a "mule" for Team Charlie for several reasons. The main reason is to help Charlie and people like him to reach their goals of being outside and enjoying physical activities. Some of us need more equipment than others to participate in these activities.The equipment is very expensive and sometimes difficult to obtain. Since I still have the ability to walk, I feel I should use that ability to help others who cannot. I want to raise money for Team Charlie but also raise awareness regarding the need for adaptive equipment. I'm also doing this for myself. I have been training for this ascent and I have only been up Mt Washington once, in a car, in the 1970's. It's time for me to get off my butt and do this for Team Charlie and myself.
