Help support David Santamore as he attempts to summit Mount Washington, unassisted via his handcycle on August 5th! Proceeds raised support Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country (ASPNC), a 401(c)(3). ASPNC's mission is to enrich the quality of life for people with disabilities through year-round opportunities for sport, recreation, and wellness.
Supporting David and ASPNC has a personal meaning for me. I grew up with my Dad confined to a wheelchair from polio he contracted at the age of 16. Dad taught me how living and being active with a disability was possible. When a friend introduced me to ASPNC in 2011, I was enthralled with the wide array of activities offered to persons with physical and/or developmental disabilities and became a volunteer. Sharing my love of the outdoors while enabling those facing the challenge of a disability to share in the experience with me is most rewarding.
