During this last year, I was pleased to meet Bella, a lovely 8th grader with CP. She is quite funny, with her quick wit and smiles. I enjoyed learning from her, especially how to communicate in a variety ways, as well as helping her become more and more integrated with her class and ALL activities. This hike, the Sunrise Ascent, is another way I can help Bella do something that I love to do often- enjoy the White Mountains.

This event means so much to Bella for many reasons.  So many important people in her life (friends, family, teachers, etc) become involved and as “mules” help bring her up the mountain.  She loves them being part of and learning more about her adaptive world.  We have lots of Team Bella events including meetings, practice hikes, and fundraising events that brings us all together and are a blast!  Read More
