Hi Friends!!
We are so pumped to be a part of this year's Sunrise Ascent on Mount Washington with Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country!! Justin has been a part of this event since its beginning in 2010, and Eileen is back for a second year. We're stoked to be on Team Martin this year, and are hoping you all will take the journey with us. On Sunday, August 2nd, we'll set out before dawn from the base of Mt. Washington and we'll be hiking 7.6 miles up the auto road to the summit with Martin, our team, and 12 other athletes and their teams. We have been lucky enough to spend a lot of time hiking with Martin and his family over the years, and they are awesome! Martin was and is an outdoorsman who has been living with ALS for over 10 years, and was the first athlete to complete the Sunrise Ascent with ASPNC!
As most of you know, Justin has been a volunteer with ASPNC for many years, and thanks to him, Eileen has joined the club as well! It's been awesome being able to help this organization provide opportunities for people with disabilities to improve their quality of life by having a blast in sports and recreation. The Sunrise Ascent is the largest fundraiser of the year for ASPNC and the money raised will help allow them to continue to provide these opportunities throughout the year.
We would love if you would send some thoughts and prayers our way on August 2nd! Also, if you're able, it is our goal to raise $710 for Team Martin to help contribute to ASPNC's overall goal of raising $62,880 (Mt. Washington's elevation is 6,288 ft.), and we would appreciate any contribution you might be able to make. If you're not able to donate, feel free to help spread the word by sharing our page!

Martin had a seemingly unimaginable goal of returning to the top of Mount Washington. In August 2010, Martin was able to realize that goal with the assistance of the Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country.
